Micah Shippee, PhD is the Chief Executive Officer of Ready Learner One LLC and author of WanderlustEDU: An Educator’s Guide to Innovation, Change, and Adventure. Micah is listed by EdTech Digest as one of the 100 top influencers in EdTech for 2019-2020. Micah is an instructional technology trainer and educator with two decades of experience. He serves the education community in several capacities including as the Eastern US lead for the Google Earth Education Experts team, as a Google Certified Innovator, and as a National Geographic Educator. Micah’s innovative approaches to training and learning find him working to bridge the gap between research and practice. As an author, consultant and keynote speaker, he focuses on the adoption of innovation through the development of learning cultures that embrace change. Micah is the co-author of “Reality Bytes: Innovative Learning Using Augmented and Virtual Reality.”
Christine Lion-Bailey is the Chief Strategy Officer of Ready Learner One LLC and a Director of Technology & Innovation in New Jersey. Christine works with organizations spanning both the education and corporate space to define future ready practices and shape learning and training. Christine serves as an adjunct professor at Ramapo College and is a Google for Education Certified Innovator. She is a learning consultant, keynote speaker, and leads learning experiences at conferences, both nationally and internationally. Christine is the coauthor of Reality Bytes: Innovative Learning Using Augmented and Virtual Reality. Christine is an advocate for innovative thought and practices in learning, both through instruction and leadership, across K-12, higher ed, and corporate spaces.
Jesse Lubinsky is the Chief Learning Officer of Ready Learner One LLC. Prior to entering the education space, he was a technology consultant for Fortune 500 companies with clients including Microsoft, JP Morgan Chase, and IBM Global Services. During his time as a Director of Technology & Innovation and Chief Information Officer for a public school district, he received a Distinguished Technology Leader and Collaborative & Innovative Initiatives Pioneer Awards from the Lower Hudson Regional Information Center. Jesse is a Google for Education Certified Innovator and Trainer, a CoSN Certified Education Technology Leader, an Adjunct Professor of Education Technology at Pace University, a member of the Google Earth Education Experts team, and a frequent keynote speaker and presenter who has recently done educational technology presentations across North America, Europe, Asia, the Middle East, and Australia.
Jesse is the co-author of “Reality Bytes: Innovative Learning Using Augmented and Virtual Reality” and also co-host of the Partial Credit Podcast.
Craig is a technology attorney specializing in intellectual property, data privacy, and cybersecurity. A substantial portion of his practice is focused on advising financial firms on the development of cybersecurity programs that meet compliance requirements.The Firm’s client come from a variety of industries located both nationally, and internationally: banking, finance, insurance, retail, manufacturing, pharmaceutical, media, e-commerce, and hospitality, amongst others. These industries have provided Craig with a broad knowledge of business and legal issues.
Craig’s cyber program has been accepted in the FINRA cybersecurity vendor directory. He earned accreditation as a Certified Information Privacy Manager (CIPM) and a Certified Information Privacy Professional/United States (CIPP-US), from the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP).
Earned his B.S. in Accounting from the University of Alabama and his J.D. from the Benjamin Cardozo School of Law where he specialized in Intellectual Property Law. Craig is admitted to practice accounting and law in New York.
Sean works with fellow teachers to incorporate technology in a meaningful way to their lessons to improve teaching and learning across the US and Canada, occasionally traveling to other international locations. Sean also shares at educational conferences throughout the nation as well as internationally. Some achievements include being a Google Workspace for Education Certified Trainer, a Google Certified Innovator, a MicroSoft Innovative Educator, and some other nifty titles.
Sean earned his Bachelor’s degree in Human Behavior from National University and continued to earn a Masters Degree in Education with CLAD certification, a preliminary Tier I Administrative Credential, and a single subject credential in Biology.
Faye has worked in the education sector for 12 years, leading digital education programmes and STEAM strategy at the British Museum and in London schools, where she introduced digital making, AR and VR into the curriculum. Faye is an Apple Distinguished Educator and Google Certified Innovator with an MA in Media, Culture and Education. She has led technology workshops for educators across Europe, spoken at education and museum conferences and run children’s workshops at major UK museums and festivals. She has recently moved to New York, where she leads STEAM education programmes at a Makerspace in Brooklyn.
Ken currently holds an M.A. in Education with a specialization in Educational Technology as well as New Media Design and Production. He has worked as an Educator for over 14 years and most recently taught technology at the Middle School level. As a part of his active involvement within the Educational Technology community, Ken is an Apple Distinguished Educator and a Google Certified Innovator. Ken has worked extensively at the policy level and was named to the California State Superintendent of Public Instruction’s Education Technology Task Force. Ken regularly gives keynotes, presentations, and leads workshops, many of which are hands-on, covering a wide variety of Educational Technology, Technology Integration, Equity and Inclusion, Multimedia Literacy, Visual Storytelling, and Instructional Design topics. Ken also provides consulting support to many companies, school districts/systems Nationally and Internationally. Ken is the ISTE Digital Equity PLN 2018 Excellence Award winner.
Matt Gottilla is the Director of Content for Ready Learner One. He has worked in education for ten years and taps into his passion for game design to create learning environments that promote student engagement, autonomy, and belonging. He enjoys sharing his excitement and knowledge about the benefits of gamified learning throughout the education community and beyond. Matt is also an enthusiast for collaborative, hands-on learning experiences. He has developed STEAM and Makerspace programs for schools in New Jersey and California. He recently presented at Edinnovate Live on his work developing VR content with students alongside industry partners, and regularly leads conference workshops and webinars on STEAM education. Matt currently teaches the Innovation Lab course at High Tech Middle Mesa in San Diego, California.
